Project Description

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information & Technology Board (KPITB) in partnership with DEMO, DataPoint, and Tech Valley is carrying out the capacity-building project, “Employable Digital Skills for the Youth of Newly Merged Areas” to train 840 youth across the newly merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on employable digital skills to ensure their inclusion in the digital economy under the KP Youth Employment Program (KPYEP).

Objectives

To empower the youth of merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with employable digital skills and enable them to overcome the challenge of un-employment.

Benefits

  • Through an initial employment assessment 30% respondents are employed with 10,000 average monthly income with total of 22 million annual income

KEY FEATURES

Under the program a total of 870 youth in merged districts have successfully completed training in digital skills
